Intracoastal City, Louisiana Accident

Bristow's commitment to Target Zero safety, our primary core value, means we strive each day to achieve no air or ground incidents of any kind. Unfortunately, we are reporting such an incident today.
A Bristow Bell 407 helicopter operating near Intracoastal City, Louisiana was involved in an accident at approximately 8:00 a.m. CDT on Friday, October 5, 2012.
We are deeply saddened to report that the pilot, Carl Amos, from Corpus Christi, Texas was fatally injured. The family has been notified and we are supporting them during this time of grief. There were no other passengers onboard.
Bristow is currently cooperating with authorities in their investigation.
We continue to work towards Target Zero and will provide additional information when the investigation is complete.
