Bristow Grants Children’s Wishes for the Holidays
December 02, 2013
On December 18, Bristow's Australian Business Unit (AUSBU) will present a check to the Starlight Foundation in the amount of $13,000 AUD. The money will be used to grant starlight wishes to two terminally ill children. Through the Starlight Foundation, children use their imaginations to create one dream wish. The foundation then seeks donations to help make the wish a reality. These once in a lifetime opportunities replace their everyday rigors of treatment and hospital beds with a few moments of joy and magic.
In Western Australia, the Startlight Foundation currently has more than 70 active wishes. Bristow’s donation will help to make the holiday season a little brighter for a few of these imaginative and inspiring dreamers.
“The Bristow team has been incredible this year and we cannot thank you enough for all that you’ve done,” says Partnerships Executive for Starlight Children’s Foundation Laura Currie.
