Airnorth Renews OM Manganese Bootu Creek Contract
September 22, 2017
Airnorth today confirmed the renewal of its contract with OM Manganese (OMM) to transport workers directly to and from Darwin and the Bootu Creek mine near Tennant Creek for the next two years.
Airnorth will operate two flights per week from its home base in Darwin to Bootu Creek using a 30 seat Brasilia EMB120 aircraft.
Airnorth CEO Daniel Bowden said, “Airnorth is delighted to be working in partnership with OMM once again.”
"The re-establishment of the mine earlier this year and upgrading of the Bootu Creek airstrip were good signs for the industry and more broadly, for the Northern Territory economy.
"Airnorth prides itself on delivering excellent on-time performance and operational integrity to all our mining customers, and we look forward to working closely with OMM team in the future," said Bowden.
