Bristow Confirms Passenger and Pilot Identified; Recovery Efforts Still Underway

HOUSTON, MARCH 11, 2019 -- Bristow Group Inc. has confirmed it will continue to assist in recovery efforts relating to yesterday’s aircraft accident in the Gulf of Mexico involving one of its helicopters, a Bell 407, registration N577AL, operating between Galliano and Venice, Louisiana. The flight was carrying one pilot and one passenger. Crews have recovered the passenger who was fatally injured in the accident. Operations are continuing today to recover the pilot.
Out of respect for the privacy of the families, the names of the passenger and pilot are not being released at this time.
