Don Miller Finalist for Houston Business Journal CFO of the Year
Bristow CFO Don Miller is a finalist for the 2018 Houston Business Journal's CFO of the Year Award. Finalists were selected for their qualitative and quantitative accomplishments, their community involvement and their ability to manage change, adapt to disruptions and help the company navigate a successful course in a dynamic world.
"The prolonged downturn in the oil and gas market has made for a challenging environment," said Bristow President and CEO Jonathan Baliff. "Yet, through it all, Don has led a team of energetic, highly capable, experienced and creative professionals and in the first half of 2018, completed both a private offering of $300 million (upsized to $350 million) of Senior Secured Notes in a private offering, as well as a new asset-backed revolving credit facility, both of which gave Bristow a much-needed critical extension of its financial runway, as the current revolving credit facility was due to expire in 2019.
"Don works tirelessly and always makes time to speak with investors, analysts, clients and employees," said Jonathan. "He is usually one of the first to volunteer for Bristow Uplift efforts; he also strongly supports the Christian Community Service Center personally and through Uplift. He leads by example and is someone that both Board members and team members rely on for straight and frank discussion and analysis with great insights."
The CFO of the Year Awards shine the spotlight on top financial executives across the city. Winners will be announced at the awards luncheon in Houston on November 8, 2018.
