Holiday Giving Around the World is the Bristow Way

Bristow employees around the world found time to give with their hearts and hands this holiday season through the company’s corporate social responsibility program called Bristow Uplift.

Bristow employees around the world found time to give with their hearts and hands this holiday season through the company’s corporate social responsibility program called Bristow Uplift. Whether collecting toys for kids or clothing for families, raising cash donations or boxing meals for the hungry, employee volunteers were busy reaching out in support of others making positive changes in their communities.

"Even in these tough times, Bristow employees continue to selflessly give in their communities and make a difference to thousands of individuals and families finding themselves in need. It’s the Bristow way.”

For the third consecutive year, employees at Perth, Australia, collected non-perishable food items, candy, holiday decorations, toy, clothes and even wrapping paper as part of Vinnies Christmas Appeal, which supports St Vincent de Paul Society that helps people in need and combats social injustice across Australia.

Employees at Bristow's Tooradin base in Victoria, Australia, participated in the Motorcycle Riders Association (MRA) Toy Run. Coordinating the effort with the Casey North Community Information and Support Service who are linked with the MRA, employees purchased gifts for children who were older than10 years as there was a shortage of toys for kids in that age group. The toys were then delivered to the Casey Information Service Centre and kept in a closed room until parents were able to choose a gift for their child and wrap it up for Christmas day.

Bristow Academy employees at Florida partnered with the Brevard County ABATE Chapter to collect toys. The toy collection ended with Bike Fest, where participants congregated on motorcycles for a ride and to donate the toys.

Employees at Houston, Texas, participated in Jingle Bell Express, benefiting Christian Community Service Center which serves the inner city Houston community. Employees donated toys and gifts then volunteered as “Santa’s Helpers,” assisting parents to "shop" for toys and new books for each of their children. The families also received a bag full of food for their holiday meal.

Houston employees also helped ready holiday meals for those in need at a food drive benefiting the Houston Food Bank. Bristow volunteers were joined by President and CEO Jonathan Baliff, Chief Administrative Officer Hilary Ware and Chief Legal Officer Chip Earle, to sort and box non-perishable food donations for those living at or below the poverty line throughout the city.

Bristow employees at New Iberia, Louisiana, collected food and other non-perishable items for FoodNet’s Food for Families Food Drive, benefiting the Greater Acadiana Food Bank, which distributes food throughout the Lafayette Parish and serves agencies including the Red Cross, the Children's Shelter, and St. Francis Foundation for Substance Abuse.
