Bristow Helicopters Ltd Announces New Appointments

Two appointments announced in Bristow's Europe Business Unit.

Alan Corbett and Oladapo Oyeleke (Dapo) started in their new roles in the Europe Business Unit (EBU) at Bristow Helicopters Ltd this week as director and deputy director respectively.

These appointments within the commercial arm of the helicopter operator come as a result of the appointment of former director, Mike Imlach, to the position of Vice President of Global Operations in the organization.

Alan, originally from Banff, Aberdeenshire, who has over thirty-five years of experience in the oil and gas industry, will look to continue on growing the success of the EBU. Prior to his arrival at Bristow, Alan has had a successful track record in senior management positions at Baker Hughes across the globe. His previous roles at Baker Hughes include successive roles including, Vice President for Sub-Saharan Africa, Indonesia and Middle East/Asia Pacific.

In addition to his responsibilities as Area Manager for Bristow Helicopters’ operations in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, Dapo will take up the position of deputy director.

Both of these new appointments will be based at the headquarters of Bristow Helicopters in Dyce, Aberdeen.

Bristow Helicopters has served the offshore oil transport industry in the UK for 60 years, consistently delivering the latest technical capabilities to its clients. The company recently celebrated the first commercial flight of the new generation AgustaWestland AW189 helicopter from Bristow’s Norwich base to the Cygnus field in the Southern North Sea. With a further four aircraft on order for the oil and gas operations, the company is set to expand this aircraft with the latest safety technology to its other operating areas in the near future.
