Turbomeca USA (SAFRAN Group) and Era Helicopters LLC sign a SBH contract for Makila engines at Heli-Expo
The Support By the Hour (SBH®) contract covers 16 Turbomeca Makila 2A engines to power Era’s new fleet of eight Eurocopter EC 225 helicopters. The engines will be operated by Era or third parties in a pool arrangement and will perform missions in the Gulf of Mexico and Europe. Each are expected to fly a minimum of 1,000 hours per year.
