Introduction of Cockpit Document Stowage Box – Center Console (Aft)
The Stowage Box is installed for the purpose of stowing miscellaneous cockpit documents which the pilot/co-pilot requires easy access to prior and during flight operations.
A Document Stowage Box is introduced to the cockpit to provide stowage for miscellaneous flight documents. The Stowage Box is installed to the rear face of the center console pedestal. A label stating, “Maps and Light Documents only Maximum Load 1 KG,” is installed on the port, starboard and aft faces of the Stowage Box.
Installation of Cockpit Utility Stowage
Operational requirement for secure stowage of documents and torches.
A compartmentalized unit for essential documents and torch stowage is provided at cockpit floor level attached to the rear of the center console.
The stowage is designed to accommodate two off “Maglite” torches (part no. S2C016) (2 cell).
Introduction of Cockpit Document Stowage Box (Starboard Side)
A Document Stowage Box is introduced to the cockpit to provide stowage for the procedures check list and miscellaneous flight documents. The Stowage Box is installed on the starboard side of the cockpit, aft of the existing foot operated P.T.T. switch.
Introduction of Cockpit Document Stowage Box – Companion Way Panel (Starboard)
A Document Stowage Box is introduced to the cockpit to provide stowage for the normal and emergency operating procedure manuals. The Stowage Box is installed to the starboard companion way / walkway panel. A label stating “Maximum Load 2.25 KG” is installed on the side face of the stowage box.
A newly designed stowage compartment is required to securely house a larger version of the Emergency Procedures (EP) Handbook.
Introduction of Cockpit Document Stowage Box – Centre Console (Port Side)
A Document Stowage Box is introduced to the cockpit to provide stowage for A4 maximum size check list or miscellaneous flight documents. The Stowage Box is installed to the port side face of the center console pedestal.
